Introductions are in order....
Introductions are in order ....
Yes they are.
I think a lot of people start blogs to work through things, to get things out, to put things into perspective. I know the few that I wrote, just for myself were indeed just those things. But the more I wrote, and the more I read, I began to see that more and more people need to see the real. Not the perceived internet version of someones image or life story. Do not get me wrong, I am guilty of these things to, on my Facebook page or images posted, instagram filtered images.... I try to only put the fluffy happy pretty parts out there on the internet for others to see. But that is not all that life is, Life is dirty, clean, happy, sad, all the ying and yangs really and truthfully I would not want it any other way. Part of what makes our lives so colorful and dynamic is the fact that we have flaws, we have issues, we have things we need to work on. These things make us unique and at the same time they make us all exactly the same. I am definetely not more important, more special than the person next to me, we are all important, we are all special, we are all different and that is ok. The things that most people think of as differences, really are not. We are all a lot more alike, than we would most times I think want to realize. What can shake us up, what can make us great or bring us low - makes life what it is. It is how we handle those ups and downs that change us and it is how we handle that change that eventually starts to define us. This is your story, this is my story, be a part of it.... all the treads of life connect in some way or another. My thread I have just decided I am putting more out into the open - feel free to come on for the ride.
This blog will be about my particular brand of life; kids, dogs, work, soccer, cooking, books, thoughts, yoga - all the fuzzy happy parts, the grey sad parts and all the rainbows in between. You will find recipes that have worked with my family more so that not, coupled with what ever book I have managed to sneak in (thank God for audio books) especially when working on a crazy schedule. How I try to make it all work, and how I deal with it when it does not. I can guarentee, like everything else, it will be a work in continuous progress. Like me.... "all the rainbows in between the grey clouds and the green grass".
